When our family decided we were going to start looking for our next home and sell our current home, we knew right away that Bill and Laura were the pair to call!

After moving to Sarnia, my wife and I decided to buy our first home. We learned about Bill and Laura from a friend of ours who thought they would be a great fit considering our situation. We were looking for a realtor who was patient, honest and knowledgeable. Laura and Bill are two of the kindest people we have met in Sarnia! 

Some things we liked about ” The Reid Team”:

• Laura and Bill never seemed too eager to win a bid, they were sincere and wanted us to get the best value for our first home. They never pushed to start a bidding war. Like Laura always said, “I’d rather you lose on a bid than overpay for something that is not worth the price”!

• Whenever we needed information about repairs or renovations that were needed for a certain property we were considering, they were always able to get us quotes quickly using their many connections they acquired during their real estate investment career in Sarnia. They are still helping us till now whenever we have any questions related to home maintenance and repair.

I recently renovated and sold 815 Charlesworth Drive, Sarnia Ontario. The renovation was a complete renovation of the interior of the house top to bottom, and took about 6 months to complete. I chose the Reid Team ( Bill Reid and Laura Cicchini) as the listing agents. One reason I chose them is that after talking to them early in the renovation process they had some great ideas about renovation, access to contractors, and decorating ideas. They also had a great marketing strategy which was very important in this changing market.

As for the results I was thoroughly impressed with the “Reid Team”. I implemented many of their suggestions during the renovation process and after the renovation (with regard to decorating, staging and presentation). The end result was the house looked amazing prior to listing.

Also, the marketing strategy was perfect. The house was sold 2 days after listing for more than the asking price which is rare in this current market. I was very pleased and so were the buyers – a win/win situation.

How to describe Bill and Laura!! Once you meet them, you’ll know what I mean. They are unique in the most wonderful of ways, and complement each other beautifully, both interpersonally and professionally.

I’ve wanted to write a review for a few days but was struggling for the right words. It’s challenging to describe Bill and Laura because they are so exceptional; as individuals, and as a real estate team.

Both Bill and Laura show up consistently and are beyond supportive, and exceed what I imagined Real Estate agents to be. Because they go way above and beyond, have zero Ego, are compassionate, and have an energy that is wonderful to be around.

Laura has a natural radiance about her that one can immediately sense. She is also incredibly organized and efficient in getting things done. Laura helped me pack up all of the items in the house I was selling, and did so with diligence, compassion, respect, and integrity.

Laura shines with the gifts of market analysis AND creativity. Once she puts on her glasses, you know she is serious. She goes out of her way to explain the market, her approach, the analysis she has done, and all of the behind~the~scenes research she accomplishes. Laura takes the time to explain anything I don’t understand, offers pro’s and con’s, and is consistently considerate to reassure me that is it ultimately my decision. She helped make this process very empowering.

Laura also is exceptionally creative and has brilliant ideas when it comes to “staging” a house. Her approach is unique and practical to each room, as well as aesthetically pleasing for any potential buyer to imagine a new place as their new home.

Bill exudes calmness, respect, commitment, and genuine care as well. Bill has helped move so so so many things out of the house which was a major gift. Often times I’ve had to “shoo” him because he was working too hard! But that’s Bill! He shows up continuously, and has this energy about him that is so easy to be around. So kind, respectful, capable, and honouring. And….efficient. Always with a reassuring sentence.

Bill and Laura are highly, highly intuitive, extremely conscious, yet also very analytical and efficient and successful in reaching your goals. It’s a rare but most necessary combination. I’ll explain quickly and then I’ll wrap this up….

It was imperative we cleared and sold the house in a time~sensitive way, and with the most integrity and honour. I couldn’t have it any other way. Bill and Laura provided all of this, as well as obtaining a great value for the home, and the new owners seem to be very excited to move in!

I lost my parents unexpectedly earlier this year, and had to clear and sell my childhood home. Bill and Laura came into my life and made this daunting and emotional process actually magical. Magical!
